Family Fun Day and EEC Olympics
At Energy Electric Contractors, we know the importance of fostering team spirit through memorable events, which is why we continue the tradition of Family Fun Day. This event was a fantastic opportunity to bring the EEC family together for team bonding and an exciting backyard experience. We welcomed our team members to bring their families to celebrate with food, face painting, a DJ, and hosted our first ever nail-biting EEC Olympics. This annual event unites our team for a day of fun, fitness, and philanthropy.
The EEC Olympics, an exhilarating obstacle course, challenges participants to push their limits, fostering camaraderie and teamwork. The adrenaline was high as team members raced through various obstacles, all in the spirit of charity.
Our Family Fun Day isn't just about competition; it's also about giving back to the community. This year, we raised funds for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and their families, completely free of charge. Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our team, the donations jar was filled, and our generous CEO doubled the amount, making a significant contribution to this wonderful cause.
At EEC, we are committed to creating memorable experiences that strengthen our team and support our community. Family Fun Day is just one example of how we build a stronger, more united company.
Foreman Smokeout
This summer, we've resumed our tradition of holding the Foreman Smoke Out! This gathering allows us to unwind, have a good time, and spotlight some much-deserved appreciation for our hardworking team.
Everyone enjoyed a relaxing day filled with cornhole tournaments, good music, and an incredible 8-course meal. The feast included a delectable array of meats, seafood, desserts, and drinks, all prepared by the talented Jeffrey Kirby, TJ Rafferty, Kristopher Kopecky, and Sean Clark. Their culinary skills made the event even more special, showcasing the diverse talents within our team.
In addition to the fun and festivities, we took a moment to honor our long-standing employees for their loyalty and dedication. Stephen presented Movato watches to four remarkable team members who have collectively contributed 85 years of service to EEC. Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to Jeffrey Kirby, TJ Rafferty, Kristopher Kopecky, and Sean Clark for their unwavering commitment over the years.
Apprentice Development
At Energy Electric Contractors, we believe that training is the key to success, and our recent Pipe Bending Class for apprentices proved just that. The atmosphere in the EEC warehouse was electric, with future foremen truly blossoming. What a testament to our team's dedication it is having apprentices driving over 90 minutes eager to strengthen their skills as electricians.
During this training session, our apprentices delved deep into the intricate art of pipe bending, mastering essential skills and techniques that are absolutely critical in our field. We are immensely proud of our apprentices for their commitment to excellence and look forward to seeing the amazing contributions they will make to our projects and the industry at large.
A huge shoutout to our incredible instructors Kristopher, TJ, and Casey, who brought their wealth of experience and passion to the room, making this learning journey both informative and enjoyable. Thanks to their expert guidance, our apprentices gained valuable knowledge that will serve them well in their careers.
At EEC, our dedication to providing ongoing training opportunities like this ensures our team remains at the forefront of the industry.
